PC Games - Dungeon Hack

Every month, sport players will await another launch. What adventure would they're up against next? And what could be better than to have the ability to create your own experience? This was the premise of the original Dungeon Hack from the manufacturers of Dungeons & Dragons. Unfortunately the game didn't deliver on its promises.

Dungeon Hack could have been a fantastic idea if the makers of it had put time into it that has been necessary. However, as with so many products which we see everyday, this was obviously a rush job and it showed.

The premise of Dungeon Hack was simple. Rather than the game engine giving you a set game to play where you journey through some dungeon searching for treasures and fighting creatures, with this game you could design your own adventure along with your own dungeon so that every game was different. What could be more exciting than that?

Except the match has been anything but thrilling. The number of problems with the game far outweighed the amount of items that were good about it. Let's start off with the good parts as that won't take long.Image result for pc games

The only good part about the game was that you can really"technically" create an infinite number of dungeons and experiences. You can designate how many levels, what kinds of monsters and treasures and quite a few other things. On the surface, this would seem to make this kind of game that you can play over and over without ever getting tired of it.

Nevertheless, the actual game play itself did not really work that way. Dungeon Hack was simply a random dungeon creator. Even though every person was"publicly" different, the truth of the matter was, each one was exactly the same. The only difference in the game, from one drama to another, was the compilation was laid out differently and you encountered different monsters in various locations and found different treasures. But the game play itself sensed the same every time. It wasn't like playing a different game. It was simply a continuation of the game you played the last time you fired it up. Add to the fact that the graphics were so horrible, even by 1980s standards and this match was almost unplayable.

In recent years since the first Dungeon Hack was published, other customizable games have come out. Whether they were able to achieve what Dungeon Hack could not is a matter of opinion. Certainly Dungeon Hack had its appeal.

For those who didn't desire more than just a random dungeon each time they played, it served its purpose. However, for those people who desired a different narrative, in which case this match had none, then you were really out of luck. Dungeon Hack had no story, no cohesive structure and no real interest to some die hard game player.
